Nigerian striker Olakunle Olusegun has signed on loan with Russian team FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod from FC Krasnodar. He was instrumental in Krasnodar’s winning of the title for the 2024/25 season. Olusegun originally joined Krasnodar on loan from Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv during the 2022/23 season, and the move was made permanent the following year. The adaptable forward has played 100 matches in the league for the Bulls, netting 12 goals and assisting six times. Before this, he was part of FDC Vista Gelendzhik and Fremad Amager. Olusegun featured for Nigeria during the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and played in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he scored in their Round of 16 match, which ended in a 3-1 defeat against the Netherlands.
