​Court of Dakar: the tapestry artist Adji Mass sentenced to 6 months of prison with suspension 

  The trial of Adji Mass, influential followe on TikTok, opened this Wednesday before the tribunal des flagrants délits de Dakar. Faced with the tribunal, the young woman presented her apologies and asked for forgiveness, according to the declarations of her lawyer, Me Aboubackry Barro. The public prosecutor had requested six months’ imprisonment, of which three were suspended. However, the judge did not follow intégralement ce réquisitoire and finally sentenced Adji Mass to six months of prison with suspension, thus avoiding his detention. His lawyer welcomed the decision, stating that his client “will be returning home today”. Mr Barro explained that he had applied for clemency on health grounds: “Adji Mass’s state of health is not compatible with detention.
