Cybersecurity: The lawyers of Farba Ngom announce a complaint against Yoor-Yoor after the revelations on the march of Ourossogui

The pool of lawyers of Farba Ngom is to file a complaint on Wednesday 30 July with the Division spéciale de cybersécurité (DSC). This follows information published by the newspaper Yoor-Yoor Bi in its edition of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, stating a disbursement of a billion CFA francs for the popular rally organized in Ourossogui in favor of the liberation of the political man. According to the newspaper, the logistics for this peaceful march would have been very expensive. “More than 120 buses with 70 seats have been hired for 200 million CFA francs to transport the participants from Dakar to Ourossogui”, la Une du Quotidien reports. In addition, “300 million FCFA would have been paid to some 8 400 persons transported to participate in the event”. Yoor-Yoor Bi also refers to the “financial gratifications distributed to political leaders present in Ourossogui, valued between 2 and 5 million CFA francs”. The newspaper claims that influencers and activists have also received compensation, as well as press agencies that have benefited from 3 to 5 million FCFA to ensure favorable media coverage, with “exclusivities, reports and detailed press reviews”. Faced with these assertions, the collective of lawyers of Farba Ngom intends to seize justice.
