Dan Radebe Primary’s Community Fun Walk encouraged healthy living while offering free health screenings and banking support, thanks to strong community and partner involvement.
The Dan Radebe Primary hosted a successful Community Fun Walk on Saturday. The event promoted a healthy lifestyle among learners and parents.
’We were honoured to have the Department of Health on site, providing free HIV testing, blood sugar checks and blood pressure screenings.
“Standard Bank also partnered with us, assisting parents in opening student and personal bank accounts,” explained Malamulela Nxumalo, the school principal.
Nxumalo and School Governing Body chairperson Prince Msutwana were thankful and proud of the sports committee’s hard work and the overwhelming support from the community.
