​Danse obscène à Grand-Médine: The verdict has been passed for the three Guineans 

  The Tribunal des flagrants délits de Dakar has sentenced, on Thursday 31 July 2025, three Guinean nationals to one year in prison ferme, for outrage public à la pudeur et acte contre nature. It is about Souleymane Ba, Ablaye Camara and Ousmane Bah involved in a dance scene deemed obscene in Grand-Médine. The events took place during a wedding ceremony organized by one of their compatriots. The three men, members of an orchestra engaged in entertainment, have admitted to behaving inappropriately, which they attribute to the euphoria of the festive atmosphere. At the bar, they expressed their regret and presented public apologies. The public prosecutor, estimating the seriousness of the facts, demanded a sentence of two years’ imprisonment, denouncing an unacceptable and offensive behaviour. La défense, assurée by Maitre Ibamar Diop, and pleaded la clémence.. In the light of the foregoing considerations, the Tribunal has relaxed the charges against the defendant for corruption of a minor, but has declared him guilty of offences of public outrage to modesty and of an act against nature.
