A large-scale clearance operation was carried out on Friday at the HLM roundabout, in an area belonging to the Senelec, long occupied by mechanics. Three heavy vehicles and a lifting machine were mobilized to liberate the place, to the great relief of the locals who had been denouncing for several months the insecurity linked to this anarchic occupation. In the same dynamic, another atelier de mécaniciens was dismantled in Noflay, in the commune of Rufisque. No resistance or incidents were reported during the operations.
