The Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, Cheikh Niang, received his colleague from the Department of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, Alioune Sall, for a working session on the digitization of diplomatic services in the framework of the New Technological Deal. This Thursday, 30 October, at the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and External Affairs (MIAAESE), the Minister Cheikh Niang welcomed his colleague from the Department of Communications, Telecommunications and Digital, Alioune Sall, for a working session devoted to the New Deal technological. This meeting is part of the process of modernisation and digital transformation of the public administration, promoted by the Government of Senegal. The exchanges identified the main challenges linked to the digitalisation of diplomatic and consular services, while drawing up concrete solutions to enhance their efficiency, interconnection and security. Le New Deal technologique presents itself as an audacious initiative that strengthens the digital sovereignty of Senegal and puts innovation at the service of social and economic progress. Through this approach, the government aims to equip public institutions with modern, efficient and secure tools, for the benefit of citizens and the Senegalese diaspora. At the end of the meeting, Minister Alioune Sall announced the imminent establishment of a dedicated team to support the digitization of MIAAESE services, in compliance with security standards and good technological practices.
