Dr David Molapo honoured six of his former grades One to Eight teachers for their contributions to his successful life.

Kwa-Thema – Leading management consultant, teacher and renowned motivational speaker Dr David Molapo held an honorary celebration for his former grades One to Eight teachers on March 15.
The celebration in Boksburg was to recognise their contributions to his success and life. He said the teachers had each contributed differently and significantly to his being, saying they invested their time and helped him become who he is today.
“I aimed to recognise my teachers’ impact on my life. I was thanking them for believing in me, speaking greatness into my life and propelling me to the nation of the world.
“They invested their time, talents and treasures to uplift and equip thousands of us with life and leadership skills,” said Molapo.
He celebrated six of his former teachers, one being Gladys Radinne, who expressed gratitude for Molapo’s celebration of their hard work and dedication.
“I have touched many learners’ lives, and many never forget to thank me when they see me on the road. Molapo was one of my top learners, and I was close to his mother. He lived near the school. I often went to his house to have a cup of tea, which sometimes annoyed him.
“I would tell him he had no choice but to welcome me daily. I am grateful to have received such heartwarming gifts, and my attention is drawn to the amazing candle he bought me,” said Radinne.
She added that her highlight at the celebration was hearing Molapo allude to how each teacher contributed to his life.
“He is probably the first and last person to celebrate me like this. I am honoured to have been recognised so beautifully for my work,” she added.
