Liverpool star Florian Wirtz says he’s optimistic Hugo Ekitike will paint the Premier League with goals.. Ekitike, who cost an initial £69M, is currently Liverpool’s second most expensive signing this summer, following Wirtz’s £116M move from Bayer Leverkusen in what was a club and British record fee that is likely to be the biggest deal ahead of the new season.. Wirtz opened up on Ekitike who he thinks is a fantastic talent that he is happy to playing alongside someone who can supply goals as well as feed off of.. I am really happy that I can play with him.. “I think it is good that we have a few players that came in the same time. We can connect and talk to each other, and that helps when you come to a new team.”
