The President of the National Assembly of Senegal, El Malick Ndiaye, participated in the opening ceremony of the 6th World Conference of Presidents of Parliament. On this occasion, the second personality of the State will present the vision of Senegal on the great parliamentary issues, with particular emphasis on democracy, peace and justice. I had the honour of taking part this Tuesday in Geneva in the opening ceremony of the 6th World Conference of Presidents of Parliaments, organised by the IPU in partnership with the United Nations, on the theme: “The world in turmoil: parliamentary cooperation and multilateralism for peace, justice and prosperity for all. I’m not sure. I will make a speech in plenary to share Senegal’s vision on the great parliamentary issues, notably democracy, justice and peace. I will also participate in several thematic panels and hold bilateral meetings with the IPU Secretary-General and his counterparts in order to strengthen interparliamentary cooperation and consolidate the parliamentary diplomacy of our country.
