Enquête sur la gestion de la Sar: the Dgment is audited by the Dic et précise

Mamadou Abib Diop, the current director general of the Société africaine de raffinage (SAR), denied the information published this Tuesday by the daily newspaper l’Observateur according to which he would have been heard by the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC). In a publication on his Facebook page, the chef d’entreprise has brought some clarifications to establish the facts. He stated that he had “never been heard by the DIC”, contrary to what had been reported. He explained that the general directorate of the SAR had simply sent “its legal department to hand over the documents concerned to the investigators”. M. and Diop stressed that this case dates back to 2020 and “has nothing to do with the specific scope”. He also revealed that he had been contacted by a journalist from this media the day before, to whom he had already indicated the antiquity of the dossier, before the article was published. Faced with this situation, the Director-General gave the impression that the SAR was considering legal action, declaring that the company “reserves the right to bring legal proceedings” against this daily newspaper.
