This Saturday, Déthié Fall was officially appointed Minister of Infrastructure, succeeding his predecessor at the head of this strategic portfolio. In a statement published shortly after his appointment, he thanked the highest authorities of the country and reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Senegal. “Dear compatriots, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, and to the Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, for the trust placed in my modest person in appointing me Minister of Infrastructure”, declared Déthié Fall. The new minister also specified the manner in which he intended to carry out his mission: “This mission will be carried out with all the necessary energy, rigor and expertise, in the spirit of speed and transparency, in accordance with their directives.
