Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given injury updates on his squad ahead of this weekendâs Premier League trip to Everton.
The Gunners would be looking to at least maintain their two-point lead at the top of the table with a win.
But Arteta will not be able to count on several key players.
Ben White picked up a hamstring problem in the 2-1 win over Wolves last Saturday.
Arteta, speaking about White on Friday, said: âHeâs not a major injury, but it will keep him out for a few games, I think.
âBen is a really fast healer as well, so thereâs hope that weâre going to have him in the next few games.â
On reports that Kai Havertz has suffered an injury setback, Arteta said: âHeâs progressing really well and quite fast in the last few weeks.
âWe are really positive that if everything continues like that in the next training sessions, heâs going to be with us soon.â
Arteta also spoke about Gabrielâs recovery from injury.
The Brazilian defender is currently recovering from a thigh/abductor injury picked up during the November international break and will miss the Everton game on Saturday.
He said: âHeâs pushing hard, as he always does every time heâs out and heâs evolving really well.
âHeâs doing pitch sessions, so heâs not too far.
âWe have to see in the last stages of that rehab how he progresses but we are quite positive about it.â
