Former Manchester United player, Owen Hargreaves has praised Bryan Mbeumo and Kobbie Mainoo for their standout performances against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.
He referred to Mbeumo as a great finisher, comparing the Cameroon forward and Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah.
Regarding Mainoo, Hargreaves commended the England midfielder’s humility and consistent performances since becoming a regular starter under caretaker manager Michael Carrick, a notable change from his lack of starts under the recently dismissed Ruben Amorim.
“Mbeumo is a great finisher; I have said this before,” Hargreaves stated on TNT Sport. “He reminds me of Mohamed Salah.”
Speaking about Mainoo, Hargreaves added, “He has never had a bad game and he is so comfortable on the ball.
“He is so humble and he is going to be a really special player.”
