Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has named Arsenal as the best team globally at the moment.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of Man City’s clash with Wolves this weekend, Guardiola emphasized his admiration for Mikel Arteta’s side.
He, however, acknowledged the challenge of closing the gap on Arsenal in the Premier League.
“Right now, Arsenal are the best team in the world,” Guardiola said.
“Look in the Champions League, look in the Premier League, look at the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, so they are the best team right now.
“Hopefully, we can be close, and get better and give ourselves one chance to catch them.”
Currently, Arsenal hold a seven-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League after 22 matches.
