EPL: Guardiola shares Man City’s board’s position during challenging performance stretch.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has stated that he still has the board’s support despite the team’s recent struggles. The Premier League champions will face Everton on Boxing Day while currently ranked seventh in the league. After 17 matches, City trails Nottingham Forest by four points and is just one point behind Bournemouth, who holds the fifth position. However, Guardiola mentioned that he has the endorsement of chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, similar to when he faced challenges during his first season. He remarked, “We talk every week.” I feel extremely supported. “We acted as we did in the first season, but it was entirely different.” We both understand that when something goes wrong, we will make decisions. I feel greatly backed by him. “Certainly from Txiki (Begiristain) and Ferran (Soriano), but especially Khaldoon in that regard.”
