
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hit out at critics who claim Arsenal would not be unworthy Premier League winners this season.
The Gunners are being criticized for their reliance on set-pieces, having scored 24 times from throw-ins, corner-kicks and free-kicks ā the highest number in the league.
According to ex-Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes, Mikel Artetaās men would be āthe worst team to ever win the Premier Leagueā.
But Guardiola has defended the right of managers to employ any style they want in a bid to win games.
He said: āMaybe, Iām not [in agreement] with the people saying āno, that the league is not good this season, the winner will not be goodā. I donāt agree.ā
City has scored 84.2% of their goals from open play compared to Arsenalās 58.6%.
