EPL: I’m thrilled – Graham Potter responds after securing a new coaching position.

Former Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, has expressed his joy at securing a new managerial position. He was officially named the new manager of Premier League team West Ham United on Thursday, taking over from Julen Lopetegui, who was recently dismissed. The 49-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Hammers. Potter will lead his new team for the first time when they face Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round on Friday evening. “I am delighted to be here,” Potter stated on the club’s website. “It was important for me to wait for a job that felt right, and that I was a good match for the club I am joining. I feel that way about West Ham United.” Potter has previously managed Premier League teams such as Chelsea and Brighton. West Ham is currently in 14th place on the Premier League table, having accumulated 23 points from 20 matches.
