EPL: Man Utd win fourth straight game under Carrick with victory over Tottenham

Manchester United recorded their fourth consecutive win under Michael Carrick on Saturday as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Since Carrick replaced Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils have picked up victories against Manchester City, Arsenal and Fulham.

Against Spurs, they struggled to break down the visitors until captain Cristian Romero was shown a straight red card.

Referee Michael Oliver dismissed Romero for a nasty tackle on Casemiro.

Shortly after, Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for United, finishing off a well-worked corner routine.

Bruno Fernandes added a second after the break as United maintained their place in the top four with 44 points.
