Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has made it clear that no one will hand them the Premier League title.
Rice also revealed that the squad had a “firm” conversation, following a miserable 2-2 draw with Wolves in midweek.
The Gunners threw away a two-goal lead at Molineux but conceded the equalizer in stoppage time, to give Manchester City a big boost in the title race.
The result led to more questions over Arsenal’s mentality.
But Rice told the Sun: “We’re not going to be handed it, we need to go and win it, we need to deserve it and we need to be ready for anything that is thrown at us.
“We spoke to each other in a firm way after Wolves, we knew we’d let ourselves and the fans down after being in such a good position.”
