Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair has cautioned his old club against making a potentially foolish decision by selling Noni Madueke to Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window. Chelsea is aiming to enhance their attacking lineup under manager Enzo Maresca. The club has finalized signings for Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, and they are also nearing a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens to strengthen their wide positions following Jadon Sancho’s exit and the uncertainty around Mykhailo Mudryk. Consequently, Madueke is reportedly one of the players Chelsea may consider offers for. Sinclair expressed his viewpoint, stating, “I think that would go against the grain of what Chelsea are trying to achieve,” and added that he would be surprised if they allowed Madueke to leave. I’m aware that Arsenal often targets Chelsea players from time to time, but I think it would be unwise to let Madueke leave, especially to a competitor.
