Fulham manager, Marco Silva, has bemoaned the goal that was disallowed in their 2-1 defeat t Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Silva made a cheeky dig at the officials, claiming Samuel Chukwueze’s toe nail is too big.
Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring at Craven Cottage, before Harry Wilson equalized with a finely-worked goal.
In the second half, Chukwueze ran down the left flank and crossed the ball into the box.
Alex Iwobi headed the ball onto the crossbar, before Emile Smith-Rowe tapped it into an empty net.
VAR review showed that Chukwueze was offside just before he put in his cross.
Marc Guehi eventually got the winner for Crystal Palace in the 87th minute.
“Probably the [toe] nail of Chukwueze is too big for the sport that we are playing.
“Now, another decision from the VAR against us,” Silva told Sky Sports.
