In extra-time, Lyon managed to score twice despite being down to ten men after Tolisso received a red card in the 89th minute. At this stage, many fans began leaving the stadium. Nevertheless, a penalty from Bruno Fernandes and a goal from Kobbie Mainoo brought the match level again.
