Expect new music from DjyBob_Sa

Loyiso Nsibande learnt how to make music at his friend’s studio and believes he inherited his father’s love and passion for music.

Tsakani – Loyiso Nsibande (20), known to his fans as ‘DjyBob_Sa’, became an artist after he figured out how to use FL Studio (a digital audio workstation).
He draws inspiration from Mdu, aka TRP, a pioneering amapiano producer, DJ, songwriter and singer known for his futuristic spin on the dance subgenre’s signature log-drum sound.
Because his love for music never runs out, Nsibande believes his father genetically passed on his love for music.
“My father loved music and passionately listened to it. It made me realise music has the power to positively impact each individual, uplift spirits, and provide a sense of joy.
“I became an artist through experimentation; a friend had a home studio. I visited him as often as possible so I could polish my abilities.
“My love for music grows fonder each time I create or re-create something. My songs carry meaning and reach each individual differently,” he said.
He added that music has groomed him, exposed him to opportunities, unleashed his creativity and enabled him to share his creativity with young people.
He looks up to Kabza De Small for his sound and ability to make people happy, saying his music makes people dance.
“Kabza is an impactful, versatile artist whose creativity grows bigger every time he produces something. I aspire to become like him – a king in the amapiano genre.
“I have worked with local artists Zeus, Nte_Sa and Bade. I am always open to collaborations to create opportunities for myself and my peers,” he added.
He recently released the single Freaky Friday and it is available on all digital platforms for streaming.
He is working on releasing a few mixtapes next month and an EP in June.
“The mixtape will be for people to understand my production taste. I will try to experiment and play around with different fusions, elements and sounds.
“The aim is to showcase my ability and offer exceptional music and entertainment to those in need. I want to give my fans a chance to relate with me and find tranquillity and solace in my music.
“I aim to release a single titled Francis Brown in March, in the form of a sub-genre called France,” he mentioned.
His vision for growth includes becoming a game-changer in music. He wants to spread love, share his music globally and ensure he inspires many young and upcoming artists.
“Young people need to be kept off the streets and focused. Sharing my creativity and making a name for myself will inspire those in need.
“My music aims to make people happy every time they listen to it. I always want to see people dancing when they listen to my craft. My music should be a joy pill.
“I was just another somebody before making music. Today, I am known to many as a creative artist in my township, soon to be known vastly worldwide,” he concluded.
