On the eve of the Senegal Day at the Osaka-Kansai 2025 World Expo, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, was due to meet the Senegalese SMEs and SMEs representing the country, despite a particularly busy agenda. During this meeting, the Head of State welcomed the commitment, dynamism and creativity of Senegalese entrepreneurs, recalling the central role they play in national construction and in the realization of the Vision Senegal 2050. President Faye also reaffirmed the Government’s willingness to accompany and support the private sector, which he considers to be a real engine of growth, job creation and innovation. According to him, a strong, competitive and resilient economy necessarily requires a strong partnership between the State and local businesses.
