Luis Diaz will sign for Bayern Munich in the next 24 hours, after agreeing a £65 million move from Liverpool.
This was stated by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that Diaz will leave the Reds pre-season camp to complete the deal.
“Plan confirmed for Luis Diaz: new Bayern winger will arrive today in Munich and he’s set to complete medical on Tuesday.
“Four year deal to be signed in next 24h,” Romano posted on X.
Liverpool are now set to bank an extra cash for their Alexander Isak pursuit.
The Reds winger told Arne Slot earlier this summer that he wanted to explore a move away from Anfield.
Diaz, 28, joined Liverpool in Asia for their pre-season tour but was left out of the squad for their friendly against AC Milan.
Slot later confirmed that the forward had been left out due to speculation over his future.
And now Liverpool have officially given Diaz permission to leave the tour after agreeing a deal with Bayern.
The Premier League champion’s twice failed in attempts to convince Diaz into signing a new deal.
