Victor Mathieu Moundor Diouf, Master II student at the Faculty of Modern Letters of the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar (UCAD), is known for his involvement in a vast network of banknote counterfeiting. Intercepted on his return from Germany, where he was in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, he confessed to having put four students in contact with Doudou Faye, the main fugitive suspect. The case, revealed by Libération, brought to light a fraud involving Doudou Faye, former contractual of the Faculté des Lettres et Sciences Humaines. In charge of the management of the database of grades, the latter would have taken advantage of his position to modify the results of students in exchange for money or sexual favors. Victor Mathieu Moundor Diouf, recruited as an intermediary, received a commission of 50 000 FCFA per dossier by putting the students in contact with Doudou Faye. The latter has been on the run since the outbreak of the affair in November 2024. He is now the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the judge of the Third Cabinet, at the request of the Public Ministry.
