Joint au téléphone par PressAfrik, Félix Mboup strongly condemned this act which confirms, according to him, the great vulnerability of the tenants. We deplore this catastrophic situation. This event sufficiently demonstrates that tenants have no rights in Senegal, that they are not protected, that they are considered as persons without value and that they suffer at the hands of real estate agencies and owners “, he denounced. The President of ALLO also deplored the laxity of the new authorities in dealing with the recurrent housing problem. “It is regrettable to note that this new regime, since its establishment, has not even daigné réfléchir à la question du loyer”, he regretted. He welcomed, however, the initiatives of the previous regime: “One can reproach the old regime with many things, as with everything else, but it has twice tried to provide solutions to the problems of the tenants.
