The death by aggression of Adja Marème Balla Cissé, a couturière of 43 years, found dead in front of her house, plunged and kept the population of Ngaparou under shock. If the victim’s family has so far refused to comment on the case before a camera, Arfang Cissé, the elder brother of the deeply upset victim, has accorded a confidence to the newspaper Le Soleil by paying a vibrant tribute to his sister, describing her as “a true fighter”, a pious, honest and hardworking woman who lives a simple and respectable life. “When I went out and saw her, I quickly realized that my sister was already dead”, he said, before adding that he immediately alerted the gendarmerie and the fire brigade. The first elements of the investigation have revealed the brutality of the attack: the victim had wounds on the body. His phone and wallet were missing, which reinforces the hypothesis of an assault. Investigations are continuing to elucidate the circumstances of this brutal crime.
