Fernandes Proposes Departure from Man United This Summer

Bruno Fernandes has stated that he is willing to exit Manchester United this summer if the club decides to sell him following their loss in the Europa League final. Recently, it was disclosed that Al-Hilal, a team from the Saudi Pro League, is ready to offer nearly £200 million for Fernandes over a three-year deal after discussions with his agents. Following their defeat to Tottenham in the final in Bilbao on Thursday night, United is facing increased financial strain as they missed out on a £100 million Champions League payout. Although it is very improbable that they will think about selling their captain, Fernandes will depart if it benefits the club. “I have always been truthful,” he stated. If the club believes it’s time to separate because they want to make some money or for any other reason, then that’s just how it goes. Football can often feel this way.. “I’ve consistently stated that I will remain until the club informs me that it’s time for me to leave.” I’m enthusiastic about contributing more and helping to bring the club back to its glory days. However, I understand that if the club ever feels I am no longer a good fit or it’s time to move on, that can happen in football—it’s unpredictable. However, I’ve consistently stated this and I remain true to my promise in the same manner. Regardless of what transpires for him and the rest of the team this summer, Fernandes firmly believes that Ruben Amorim is the right choice to lead United into the future, even after experiencing the club’s most disappointing Premier League season and not securing a place in the Champions League. “We all concurred that he is the right person for the job,” Fernandes mentioned.
