In his sermon, he insisted on the need to ban insults in all their forms, calling for mutual respect and the preservation of social and religious values. Recalling the spiritual benefits of the month of fasting, the imam encouraged the faithful to maintain their religious commitment beyond Ramadan, by persevering in prayer, solidarity and the search for good. He particularly stressed the importance of respecting family values, exhorting young people to honour their parents and to show them gratitude, in accordance with divine teachings. Finally, in a spirit of unity and fraternity, Imam Thierno Seydou Nourou Tall formulated a prayer for peace, stability and development of Senegal, calling for a strengthened social cohesion.
