The National Assembly begins today the examination of Bill No. 03-2025, authorizing the President of the Republic to ratify the Convention signed on 17 December 2004 in Rabat between the Government of the Republic of Senegal and that of the Kingdom of Morocco. This Convention concerns the assistance to persons detained and the transfer of sentenced persons. The adoption of this text aims to strengthen judicial cooperation between the two States, to guarantee better care for prisoners of Senegalese and Moroccan origin, and to facilitate the execution of sentences in the country of origin of the sentenced persons.
