The Nkosinathi Mbonani Foundation carries out successful community initiatives yearly with the aim of helping destitute individuals.

Tsakani – The Nkosinathi Mbonani Foundation was established in the midst of Covid-19 in 2021 by Nkosinathi Mbonani with an aim to eradicate poverty within the Kwatsaduza community.
Mbonani has successfully carried out initiatives and drives in schools, the community and among individuals in ways that provide relief to those burdened. The organisation frequently assists the school by donating more than 100 pads annually.
“Many young girls come from underprivileged backgrounds and often cannot afford pads. Our mission is to contribute positively to each child’s life by providing a pack or two of pads frequently.
“Others stay with their dads and find it scary to explain what they need within that specific month. Having an extra pack of pads makes the journey less scary,” explained Mbonani.
He mentioned that his biggest goal is to help unemployed individuals wherever he can. Mbonani further mentioned that his foundation held a January Christmas celebration for those who are less fortunate and could not afford to spoil themselves during the festive season.
“Christmas with Strangers was our very first initiative this year in Tsakani Ext 10. We managed to feed over 100 people on the day, offered the community pre-loved clothes, and refreshments and made sure everyone had a smile on their face.
“We successfully ran a water drive in some Langaville schools last year where we provided the school with clean water for consumption and daily use.
“I am fully dedicated to alleviating and uplifting communities and those in need. I believe in the spirit of kindness, giving is an act that reflects selflessness,” added Mbonani.

“My short-term goal is to eradicate socio-economic problems, and the long-term goal is to go national,” he said.
He highlighted that his organisation has a lot of programmes to unpack this year mentioning that his focal area is on primary school this year.
In conclusion, he mentioned that his foundation is open to sponsors, funders and those willing to donate clothes, food and other things that may help contribute positively to someone else’s life.
