Foundation donates school packs to provide relief to the parents  

Duduza- LK Foundation with sponsorship from MNS Attorneys held their second annual back-to-school drive, an event dedicated to providing essential resources and support to learners in need within the community.
The foundation partnered with Edalinceba Primary School in Duduza by assisting the school’s learners with school uniforms and donated 51 school uniform packs and shoes on January 22.

“This initiative aims to bridge the gap for disadvantaged learners by offering them guidance, support, and resources they need to succeed academically and personally.
“As an organisation, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment where learners feel empowered to thrive and help one another.
“We believe each school pack does not just carry clothing items inside but further provides confidence, happiness and a sense of joy to each learner.
“This initiative does not only provide a sense of relief to the children but also aims to assist the parents,” said foundation COO Thandeka Nkosi.
One of the parents, Monwabisi Macena expressed gratitude towards the foundation for donating school uniforms.

“School uniform has been my only worry. I did not know how I would be able to afford a school uniform for my child as an unemployed parent.
“I have been unemployed for the past four years and having such nice people donate the one thing my child needed is a blessing.
“This gift does not only make my children happy, it makes him fit in at school as he will now look like other children,” expressed Macena.
School educator Zanele Fana thanked the organisation for choosing their school and learners, citing that they are grateful for such an impactful initiative.
“Thank you for always choosing to assist this school. This empowers our children so much and makes them feel loved and valued.
“Thank you for making a difference in our school,” she said.
