Four candidates were arrested in flagrant délit de tricherie during the examinations of the Brevet de fin d’études moyennes (BFEM) this Thursday. They had on their mobile phones the corrections of certain tests already composed, as well as those of future tests, including English. It is the president of the jury, Moussa Sarr, who has discovered the pot aux roses. Intrigued by the prolonged absence of these candidates after recess, he decided to question them. Their attitude reinforced his suspicions, prompting a search of their personal effects. The checks made it possible to get hold of a telephone containing the corrigé de l’épreuve de Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre (SVT), received since 5 heures du matin. More serious still, the English test, which had not yet been administered, also appeared in the apparatus, revealing a fraudulent and premeditated organization. In the light of the facts, the elements of the police station of Diamaguène, led by Commandant Abdoulaye Diouf, intervened on the spot to arrest the suspects. Placed in custody, the students recognized the facts.
