(BPRW) FPL’s Power to Save event assists families in Miami Gardens in reducing their energy expenses by providing complimentary efficiency improvements. (Black PR Wire) WHAT: Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) will hold a Power to Save event at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex in Miami Gardens on Friday, March 21. This initiative offers qualified customers complimentary energy efficiency products and services such as LED lightbulbs, weather-stripping/caulking, limited ductwork repairs, water heater pipe-wrapping, faucet aerators, low-flow shower heads, and A/C unit inspections. During the event, FPL’s energy experts will share information about various FPL programs and provide tips on how customers can reduce their bills. Furthermore, FPL is collaborating with Farm Share to address food insecurity. Farm Share will supply complimentary food and items to participants of Power to Save, available until supplies run out. A Community Resource Fair will also take place, providing residents with valuable information and services. Customers are invited to consult the guidelines for support.
