
The Federal University Dutse, FUD, has expelled 20 students over examination malpractice during the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
This was contained in a statement signed by the University’s Director of Public Affairs, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, ANIPR, and made available to newsmen.
The statement said the decision followed recommendations of its Senate Committee.
According to the statement, the Senate also approved the rustication of 15 students, exonerated two and issued written warnings to three students after reviewing their cases.
The university explained that the decisions were taken in line with the approved categories of offences and corresponding punishments governing both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
The University noted that the affected students were drawn from various faculties and departments.
The management reiterated its commitment to upholding academic integrity and maintaining high standards of discipline within the institution.
