Gisèle Busima affair: the fear is growing around the minister Patrick Muyaya

The current Minister of Communication and spokesperson for the Congolese government (RDC), Patrick Muyaya, is reportedly trying to convince Gisèle Busima to withdraw the complaint lodged against him, while trying to dissuade her from continuing her public statements on the alleged violations of human rights involving the Minister and his close collaborators, including The General Ndaywel and the Colonel Muzimba. This is what reveal the sources contacted by Kewoulo.. Despite these attempts at pressure, Gisèle Busima would remain firm on her position. According to these same sources, “she will not give in to any intimidation and will go to the end of her pursuits “… To illustrate the strategy of the minister, a relative affirms that he would have even congratulated his lobbyist for having managed to remove Mme Busima from his new companion, convinced that even if she returned to the Democratic Republic of Congo, “the man would no longer want her “… For the record, the Bill Clinton Foundation, which supports Mrs Busima, still demands the restitution of her telephones confiscated during her detention. It also condemns the pressure exerted to stifle the case and to silence the complainant. According to information provided by the DRC Ministry of Defence, he was involved in the recruitment and use of children by the DRC authorities. She is accused of sequestering, arbitrary detention, defamation and violation of her fundamental rights. She has appealed to the Belgian and American courts and says she wants to take the case to the international level.
