Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has once again affirmed his commitment to Nigeria’s leading opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mohammed, who also serves as the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, has consistently stated in previous public remarks that he has no intention of leaving the party.
DAILY POST reports that the governor completed his registration on the PDP’s electronic membership platform on Friday, further demonstrating his loyalty to the party.
Speaking after the exercise, Mohammed encouraged party members and supporters across the country to embrace the initiative by registering through their respective wards.
He noted that the digital registration is a key step towards strengthening the party’s membership records and improving its internal structure.
The governor also maintained that the PDP remains the most credible opposition platform in Nigeria, expressing optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the PDP is determined to reclaim power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and provide better governance for Nigerians.
Similarly, the Bauchi State chairman of the PDP, Pharmacist Samaila Burga, also completed his e-registration. He assured party members that the PDP remains united and well positioned as it prepares to challenge the APC in future elections.
