Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has in a minor reshuffle of the State’s Executive Council redeployed his Chief of Staff, Hon.Gani Audu, to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources as Commissioner
Okpebholo said the appointment of his erstwhile Chief of Staff as Commissioner would be subjected to confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly.
DAILY POST reports that the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.
The Governor, however, appointed Hon Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, Commissioner for Lands and Housing as the new Chief of Staff.
The Governor also redeployed Barrister Vincent Osas Uwadiae, the Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources to the Ministry of Lands and Housing as Commissioner.
He said the minor reshuffle is part of his government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery, and promote greater efficiency in the administration of state affairs.
He expressed confidence that the strategic adjustments would further enhance coordination, policy implementation, and effective governance in Edo State.
