The Governor conveyed his excitement about working together with the organization to improve health and welfare for children and youth in the state, stating, “UNICEF holds a special significance for me.” Your organization has achieved significant progress in enhancing the health and education of children throughout Nigeria, and we are honored to collaborate in these initiatives. We commend UNICEF for its important role in advancing child welfare in the nation. Young people and children are crucial in linking us to the future. The well-being and education of this group are essential for achieving sustainable development. “We are enthusiastic about growing our collaboration with UNICEF.” Anambra is a valuable ally, and we are prepared to work together on all areas of social protection. Our motivation stems from achieving results, and we are dedicated to establishing a solid connection to the future. Soludo emphasized Anambra’s accomplishment in earning a UNICEF award as a regional and national leader for its dedication to healthcare and provision of free antenatal and delivery services. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to free antenatal care, complimentary delivery services—including caesarean sections—and genuinely free education, which have all had a substantial positive effect. Munduate previously commended the governor’s determination to prioritize health, remarking that “Health and nutrition should be viewed as investments rather than expenses.”
