Nigerian Minister Doris Uzoka-Anite said she is honored to have been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Uzoka-Anite disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
She lauded President Tinubu’s confidence in her and reaffirmed her commitment to service.
“I am honored and grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, @officialABAT GCFR, for his continued confidence in me by redeploying me to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as minister of state. I am deeply honored to serve in this new capacity, and I remain fully committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda and the delivery of measurable outcomes for Nigerians,” she wrote.
DAILY POST reports that the president nominated the chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, as minister of state and redeployed Uzoka-Anite.
Recall that Uzoka-Anite was earlier redeployed in October 2024 to the Ministry of Finance from her previous role as minister of trade and investment. This means that in the last three years, Uzoka-Anite has been reshuffled to three different ministries.
