A document received by the editorial office of Kewoulo states the provisional results of the presidential election of 23 November 2025 in Guinea-Bissau. According to these figures not yet validated by the competent authorities, the candidate Fernando Dias would arrive in the lead with 51,08% of the votes, against 48,92% for the outgoing president, Umaro Sissoco Embaló. The table relayed mentions a total of 545 620 votes cast, of which 278 691 for Fernando Dias and 266 929 for Umaro Sissoco Embaló. The differences would, however, be very variable according to the regions. Fernando Dias would largely en tête in the regions of SAB, Oio et Biombo, while the outgoing president would dominate at Gabu et Bafatá.
