Gunmen have abducted a man and his wife during a night attack on a private residence in Mada town, Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The incident was disclosed in a post shared on X on Wednesday by security analyst Bakatsine.
“Last night, bandits stormed a private residence in Tukanawa area, Mada town of Gusau LGA, Zamfara State. They abducted Alhaji Ali (Ali Babureshi) and his wife during the invasion.
“This is coming days after abducted children from the town were released. How long will communities live in fear? How long will banditry continue in Zamfara?,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, there was no official statement from security agencies on the incident.
