The parliamentary cooperation between Senegal and the Islamic Republic of Iran reached a new stage this weekend with the meeting between the Senegalese deputy Guy Marius Sagna, member of the Pastef party, and his Iranian counterpart, Dr Motfakker Azad. The MEP stressed the importance of deepening relations between Dakar and Tehran: “We must work to strengthen the bridge between Dakar and Tehran”. He also expressed his satisfaction at having been able to speak directly with his Iranian counterpart. “It was a pleasure to meet the Deputy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Motfakker Azad”, he said, while addressing his thanks to the Iranian diplomatic representation. “Thank you very much to the Ambassador of Iran to Senegal, His Excellency Hassan Asgari, for making this important meeting possible”, Mr. Sagna.. what is it?
