  The parliamentary cooperation between Senegal and the Islamic Republic of Iran reached a new stage this weekend with the meeting between the Senegalese deputy Guy Marius Sagna, member of the Pastef party, and his Iranian counterpart, Dr Motfakker Azad. At the heart of the exchanges are major geopolitical issues. The MEP stressed the importance of deepening relations between Dakar and Tehran: “We must work to strengthen the bridge between Dakar and Tehran”.
