Half My Family are Muslims – Kennedy Agyapong Addresses Muslim Community, Donates 800 Bags of Rice for Eid-ul-Fitr  

Leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party ( NPP ) and 2028 Presidential aspirant, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, donated 800 bags of rice to Ghana’s Muslim community to aid in celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday, March 31.
Agyapong made the donation to diverse Muslim communities as they celebrated breaking their rapid after the holy month of Ramadan.
The funds included 336 luggage of 50kg corn and 500 luggage of 5kg grain.
Speaking during the payment, Agyapong laid out his relations to the Muslim group, revealing half of his relatives are Muslims.
Agyapong revealed he just lost one of his Muslim brothers whose death he missed due to prior pledges.
The original Member of Parliament for Assin Central is on a payment battle since returning to Ghana after a little remain in the United States for constitutional and other factors.
A few days earlier, Agyapong donated Ghc 100, 000 plus 200 lamps intended to light up the Railways region and its surrounding surroundings.
The moves are seen as an early indication from Agyapong to stake his claim to be the leader of the NPP going forward as the party prepares to wrestle back power from the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ) in 2028.
