The group Africa Global Logistics (AGL) marked its social commitment by celebrating its second Journée de la Solidarité on Monday 29 September. The major transport and logistics operator has put the emphasis this year on health, by making significant donations to improve the well-being of the local populations in Pikine and Guédiawaye. In Senegal, the AGL has targeted two essential sanitary structures. The Institut de Pédiatrie Sociale de Pikine was the beneficiary of an ambulance, a crucial donation aimed at optimising the medical care of children. In the same vein, the Dalal Diam de Guédiawaye Hospital received state-of-the-art medical equipment to strengthen its operational capacity. A commitment that goes beyond logistics. Khadija Komara, Director of Communication and Patronage at AGL, underlined the importance of this approach, affirming that the initiative reaffirms the Group’s deep commitment to local communities.
