Meeting on Thursday 24 July 2025, the National Executive Secretariat (SEN) of the Alliance Pour la République (APR) addressed the national and international current affairs, expressing deep concern on several fronts. Crisis of the clerks: the APR calls for an immediate settlement. The SEN asked the Garde des Sceaux to respond to the demands of the striking clerks, considering their movement legitimate. It calls for the immediate opening of negotiations with the SYTJUST-UNTJ Entente, underlining the serious consequences of this crisis on the rights of citizens and the proper functioning of justice. Freedom and justice: strong concerns expressed The APR is concerned about the instrumentalization of justice and calls on the magistrates to remain faithful to their oath. The party calls for the release of several detained personalities whom it calls “prisoners of opinion”, including Moustapha Diakhaté, Assane Diouf, and businessman Tahirou Sarr. Pastef ciblé: insults, dérives and suspicions of collusion with the MFDC.
