As a prelude to this day of 8 November 2025, we pay tribute to the president of PASTEF, Mr Ousmane Sonko, a man whose courage and determination have deeply marked Senegalese and African politics. Through his struggles, he restored confidence to a long-disillusioned youth, showing him that politics could still be a space of integrity, hope and courage. His engagement, often at the cost of sacrifice, revealed a man of great moral strength. In the most difficult moments, he was able to stand firm, true to his principles and convictions. He fought for dignity, truth and hope for a better future. His journey teaches us that a true leader does not seek personal glory but progress. collective.. He has not only faced the difficulties he has transformed them into lessons, into inspirations, into hope for others. Ousmane Sonko never gave in to fear or pressure. His political and moral legacy will continue to inspire future generations. May his example continue to illuminate the path of all those who believe in a just, free and prosperous Senegal
