
In the spirit ofĀ festive seasonĀ and community empowerment,Ā itelĀ has once again demonstrated its commitment to enriching lives through its annualĀ Love AlwaysĀ OnĀ Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. This yearās project, themedĀ āLight of Hope: Restoring Health and Brightening Lives in Kaduna,āĀ focused on transforming the Primary Health Care Centre inĀ MakeraĀ South, Kaduna State.
Commissioned on December 13, 2025, the project delivered a comprehensive renovation of the facility, including complete repainting, the provision of mattresses, pillows,Ā Mosquito nets,Ā and bedsheets, as well as the installation of a robust solar energy system. The solar solution comprises a 16-kWh battery, a 12-kW inverter, and 18 solar panels rated at 590 W each, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to support critical medical operations. This intervention aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 and 7, advancing good health and well-being while promoting access to clean, sustainable energy.
SpeakingĀ on the initiative,Ā DolapoĀ Oloron-Nimbe, ATL Marketing Manager atĀ itel, emphasized the brandās commitment to touching lives where it matters most.

Reacting to the gesture, the Ward Development Committee Chairman,Ā Alhaji BelloĀ Tanko, in a letter of appreciation, thankedĀ itelĀ for considering the hospital worthy of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. He noted that the solar installation will significantly aid vaccine storage withinĀ Kaduna South Local Government Area,Ā which until now was challenging.
Similarly, the District Head ofĀ Makera,Ā Alhaji ShehuĀ Tijjani,Ā ChiromaĀ ZazzauĀ District, presented an award of appreciation toĀ itelin recognition of the renovation of the facility, the donation of essential materials, and the installation of a solar power system.
Indeed, 2025 has been a remarkable year of giving forĀ itel. Earlier in April, the brand commissioned an electric borehole at Brigade GamaĀ KasuwarĀ TakariĀ in Nasarawa LGA, Kano State. On Childrenās Day, it donated learning materials to 51 schools. By September, the brand executed itsĀ Back-to-SchoolĀ CSR initiative atĀ OmolaiyeĀ Community Primary School in Ikorodu, and in October, partnered with Lagos Food Bank Initiative to distribute food items and learning materials to pupils across three primary schools inĀ BunuĀ andĀ KpiteĀ Communities in Tai LGA, Rivers State.
